2027: IBB Speaks Out as New Political Movement Prepares for Election Season

General Ibrahim Babangida has reaffirmed his dedication to the unity of Nigeria as a new political group, The Nigerian Project, sets its sights on the 2027 elections and national reforms.

As the 2027 general elections approach, political allies of the former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, are regrouping with a renewed focus on fostering national unity and development.

During a recent courtesy visit by The Nigerian Project movement to his Hilltop residence in Minna, Babangida reiterated his unwavering belief in the importance of a united and prosperous Nigeria.

He stressed that a divided nation would struggle to achieve meaningful progress, emphasizing the need for collective effort toward national unity.

Reaffirming his commitment to the indivisibility of Nigeria, the former president encouraged citizens to remain loyal to the country and its leadership. He also called for inclusive governance that promotes open dialogue, citizen participation, and the implementation of policies that contribute to national growth.

“I stand firmly for one Nigeria and its unity. I appreciate your efforts in following the path of patriotism and national unity that we all fought for,” Babangida said to the visiting

delegation.
