PRINCE THOMAS OLALEYE OGUNGBANGBE PhD.CELEBRATE EID Al-ADHA
My good people of Ife/Ijesa,

Prince (Dr) Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe
I greet you all with love, humility, and deep respect.

As we celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha, I sincerely wish our Muslim brothers and sisters in Osun East and across Nigeria a happy, peaceful, and blessed celebration. Eid al-Adha is a time of sacrifice, obedience to God, and unity among people. These are the very values we need today in our senatorial district.

Let us take this moment to reflect on how far we’ve come as a people and, more importantly, on the brighter future ahead. Osun East is full of strength, culture, and honest, hardworking people. But we also know that we can do better in development, opportunities for our youth, and good representation at the Senate.
I stand today, not just as a politician, but as your son and brother. I believe in Osun East. I believe that when people of integrity, compassion, and clear vision are given the chance to lead, our communities will flourish.
The Qur’an says in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:201):
> “Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
This is a complete prayer, not just for spiritual blessings but also for good governance, development, and peace in our daily lives. I believe this is what we all seek in Ife/Ijesa.
If given the mandate to serve as your senator, I will not take it for granted. I will make it my duty to push for policies and projects that directly touch the lives of our people better roads, support for farmers and traders, quality education, youth empowerment, and health care. These are not promises in the air, they are goals I am ready to fight for.
But to make all this possible, we must work together in unity. Let us not allow tribe, religion, or political differences to divide us. Our strength lies in being one, whether you’re from Ipetu Ijesa, Ilesa, Ile-Ife, Modakeke, Esa-Oke, or anywhere in between. When we are united, no challenge can stop us. The division will only delay our progress.
As we celebrate this holy season, I pray for peace in every home, joy in every heart, and success in every honest effort. May this Eid bring renewal to our hopes and direction to our steps.
To everyone in Ife/Ijesa Senatorial District, young and old, men and women, I say again, Eid Mubarak. I celebrate with you, and I stand with you.
E-Signed
