NANS: COURT ORDERS PEDRO AND ELVIS TO STOP PARADING AS STUDENT’S PRESIDENT AND SENATE PRESIDENT
NANS: COURT ORDERS PEDRO AND ELVIS TO STOP PARADING AS STUDENT’S PRESIDENT AND SENATE PRESIDENT.
In a landmark ruling, the High Court has barred Pedro and Elvis from parading themselves as NANS National President and Senate President respectively. The two had been claiming to represent the interests of students despite not being officially elected. The court ruled that their actions were misleading and damaging to the reputation of the organization and the entire Nigerian students both home and in diaspora. The ruling is a major victory for student rights and sets an important precedent across the country.

In the ruling, the court noted that Pedro and Elvis had been using their false status as student leaders to influence decisions that affect the lives of students, and that this had caused significant harm to the Nigerian students. The court also noted that Pedro and Elvis had been using their position to take advantage of other students, and that this was unacceptable behavior. The court has ordered them to stop engaging in any activities related to student leadership, and has warned them that further violations of the ruling could result in harsher penalties.
