Unidentified Girl Dies After Being Robbed and Ejected from Moving Tricycle in Delta
An unidentified young girl has tragically died after being thrown from a moving commercial tricycle, known locally as a keke, by armed robbers.
The assailants allegedly stole her belongings before forcefully pushing her out of the speeding tricycle.
She suffered severe head injuries after hitting the paved road.
The incident took place near the harbour market on Udu Road, in the Udu Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday.
Attempts to save her were thwarted when hospitals demanded a doctor’s report, forcing the good Samaritan who found her to return her to the location where she was discovered.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, did not respond to calls or WhatsApp messages seeking comment on the incident.
