Driver Steals Employer’s Car on First Day, Takes It to Church for Testimony

I can’t believe I’m in a police van heading to Badagry to track down my new driver who stole my car on his first day at work.
They finally caught and arrested him last night. Can you believe this guy took my car to church and testified that God had blessed him with a new car?
My laptop was in the car, and although I was initially upset, it ended up helping us track him down since I didn’t have a car tracker. He even sold my new MacBook Pro in Alaba for just 100k. I’m just thankful to God that I got both my car and laptop back exactly as they were.
I’m incredibly grateful to the CP Tactical Team C at Surulere Police Station. They were professional, efficient, and reassuring throughout the ordeal. They tracked him down quickly, kept me calm, and made sure everything was okay.
These officers were definitely not your average police—they were quick, sharp, and well-trained. I’m extremely thankful to God that everything in my car was intact, including my bags and untouched laptop. It’s truly a blessing.
Thank you to everyone who checked on me and prayed for me. The last 36 hours were incredibly stressful, but I’m always grateful to God for His kindness and love.
Doesn’t this sound like a skit? God truly helps us in Nigeria.
