HOW THE STUDENTS OF FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF LOKOJA SUFFER TO WRITE TEST AND EXAMS
Students at Federal University Lokoja are appealing to the Federal Government for intervention regarding the ongoing issues they face during tests and examinations.
The FIRST CLASS GISTS gathered that university has been grappling with inadequate facilities, particularly evident during Computer-Based Tests (CBT). Today, students were scheduled to take a CBT in a hall designed to accommodate fewer than 100 individuals, yet over 500 students were assigned to take the test simultaneously.
This overcrowding problem has been a persistent issue during examination periods. Compounding the situation, students who manage to enter the hall are often subjected to strict time constraints. Those arriving even a few minutes late are met with harsh treatment from security personnel, who forcibly remove them from the exam room.
Students are urging the relevant authorities to address these infrastructural and administrative challenges to ensure a fair and conducive environment for academic assessments.
