Two Detained in Oyo with Fresh Human Skull

The Oyo State Police Command has announced the detention of two individuals who were found with a fresh human skull belonging to an unidentified woman in the Amuloko area of Ibadan, the state capital.
The police spokesperson, Osifeso Adewale, shared this update with our correspondent via a WhatsApp message on Tuesday.
The arrests came after a viral video surfaced showing residents detaining a man named Musa, who was discovered with the human skull. According to reports, the locals became suspicious of Musa’s strange behavior and confronted him, insisting on checking the contents of his sack. They were horrified to find the human skull inside.
FIRST CLASS GISTS posted the video on its X.com platform, stating, “Man apprehended with a fresh human head earlier today in Amuloko, Ibadan. The individual has been handed over to the police.” The suspect reportedly admitted to being part of a syndicate involved in the trade of human body parts in the area.
Osifeso confirmed to our correspondent that an investigation is underway to uncover further details about the crime. He stated, “The case is under investigation. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident. More updates will be provided as they become available.”
In a related incident, the Western Nigeria Security Network, also known as Amotekun, recently detained two men in Saki, Saki West Local Government Area, for allegedly exhuming the head of a freshly buried corpse. The men were caught in the act by the security personnel.
