Dan Bello Claims Tinubu’s Policies Are Leading to Widespread Hunger

Bello Galadanchi, a well-known skitmaker commonly referred to as Dan Bello, has accused President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies of causing widespread hunger and suffering among Nigerians.
In an interview on Trust TV’s Daily Politics, Bello criticized the government’s approach, asserting that the current policies are leading to severe hardship. He challenged the administration to take legal action against him if they disagree with his statements.
Bello emphasized that he has no political affiliations and is not working on behalf of any party. He argued, “If my commentary seems critical, it’s because the current policies are failing the people. If those policies were effective, there wouldn’t be such widespread discontent. The problems we face are not due to natural disasters but are a result of avoidable policy decisions made by our leaders.”
He highlighted the dire situation faced by many Nigerians, describing instances of people suffering from extreme hunger, drinking contaminated water, and going days without food. According to Bello, these issues stem from policy failures rather than external factors.
Bello expressed frustration with the government’s response to criticism, stating, “It’s troubling that leaders are indifferent to the suffering caused by their policies. They are more focused on their own financial gain and grand projects than on addressing the real issues.”
He concluded by encouraging continued scrutiny of the government’s actions, suggesting that if they respond with legal threats or attempts to silence critics, it would indicate that the criticism is having an impact.
