Bandit Leader, Bello Turji Warns Nigerian Government to Stop Sending Service Chiefs After Him

Bello Turji, a well-known bandit leader, has boldly warned the Nigerian government to cease sending Service Chiefs to Sokoto State, asserting that he and his followers are undeterred by the prospect of death. Turji’s message, captured in a video shared online by FIRST CLASS GISTS, highlights his group’s readiness to face any threat.

In the video, Turji emphasizes, “If we were afraid of dying, we wouldn’t have taken up arms. Stop sending Service Chiefs after us.”

This threat follows recent footage of Turji and his associates celebrating their acquisition of two Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAPs) from the Nigerian Army. The Nigerian Defence Headquarters, however, has denied these claims, stating that the MRAPs were decommissioned after becoming immobilized in a swamp during anti-banditry operations in Zamfara State.

Recently, Defence Minister General Christopher Musa and other senior military officials visited Sokoto to strategize a military response against Turji and other bandit factions causing turmoil in the North West.
