The organizers of the #FearlessInOctober protests have shared crucial details about the event, which is set to run from October 1, 2024, until their demands are addressed. The protests aim to raise awareness of the severe hunger and economic difficulties faced by Nigerians and to call on President Bola Tinubu’s administration to address these pressing issues.

The Take It Back Movement announced on social media that participants in Lagos are to gather at the Ikeja Under Bridge by 7:30 am. In Rivers State, protesters are encouraged to meet at Pleasure Park, Port Harcourt, also at 7:30 am.

In Borno State, the gathering will take place at the Arewa Youth For Peace Office on Damaturu Road, starting at 8:00 am. Yobe State protesters will convene at the Damaturu Main Roundabout, opposite the Old Motor Park to Maiduguri Road, with a similar start time of 8:00 am. In Kwara State, participants are asked to gather at the Ilorin Post Office Under-bridge by 8:00 am.

The #FearlessInOctober movement seeks to rally citizens to demand better governance and prompt government action on the widespread issues affecting the population. The organizers are urging all Nigerians to join this initiative for a more accountable and responsive leadership.
