Man in Tears as Police Damage His 27 Million Naira GLK in High-Speed Chase

A young Nigerian man was left devastated after his newly acquired 27 million naira Mercedes GLK was badly damaged during a tense encounter with police officers in Benin, Nigeria.

The incident reportedly unfolded when the police noticed the young man driving the luxury vehicle. Suspecting him of some wrongdoing, the officers initiated a high-speed pursuit. In an attempt to evade arrest, the man lost control of his car, causing a crash that resulted in significant damage to his GLK and another vehicle.
Visibly distressed, the man repeatedly shouted, “I did nothing to them. They just started chasing me for no reason!” Eyewitnesses at the scene supported his claims, stating that the officers began the chase without provocation.
As a crowd gathered around the wrecked cars, the police officers were seen trying to justify their actions to the onlookers, many of whom expressed anger and frustration, accusing the officers of reckless behavior and unnecessary aggression.
