Tragedy Strikes Sokoto SSG as Daughter and Three Grandchildren Perish in Devastating Fire

Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Sifawa, the Secretary to the Sokoto State Government, is in mourning after tragically losing his daughter and three of her children in a devastating fire that broke out early Monday morning.
The deceased woman was married to Alhaji Muhammadu Yusuf Bello, the Permanent Secretary of the Sokoto State Ministry of Sports and Youth Development.
The fire, which reportedly started in the dead of night, completely consumed the family home while they were asleep, with only her husband surviving the ordeal. The exact cause of the blaze is yet to be determined, as fire service personnel worked tirelessly for hours to extinguish the flames.
Funeral arrangements have been made for the deceased and her three children, with burial scheduled at the Sheikh Shehu Usmanu Danfodiyo Mosque in Sifawa around midnight. The ceremony will take place at the family home of the Sokoto SSG, who is the father of the late woman.
State officials, including Deputy Governor Engr. Idris Mohammed Gobir, members of the state executive council, and various APC leaders, along with friends and sympathizers, have been flocking to Sifawa to offer their condolences and support during this difficult time.
