PRESIDENT TINUBU TO HONOUR 210 OUTSTANDING FORMER CORPS MEMBERS

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is set to confer prestigious national honours on 210 former members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for their exceptional service during the 2020 to 2023 service years.
The Presidential NYSC Honours Award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, beginning at 11:00 a.m.. Please note that attendance is strictly by invitation.
Among the honorees are 200 ex-Corps Members who distinguished themselves through exemplary performance across all four key components of the NYSC programme: Orientation Course, Primary Assignment, Community Development Service, and the Winding-Up/Passing-Out exercise.
In addition, 10 former Corps Members who sustained life-altering injuries during their national service will be honoured under the NYSC Hope Alive Initiative, recognizing their resilience and patriotism.
The Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, along with the Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, and the entire NYSC management, warmly welcome all awardees and invited guests to this momentous occasion.
