FOR AMB. CHIEF ILESANMI, IT WAS “MISSION POSSIBLE” AS HE DOLES OUT N1M AT UNILAG.

The University of Lagos, arguably the best University in Nigeria and Africa was set aglow on Thursday 9th of October 2025 as they celebrate the International customer service week with the theme: “Mission Possible”. The event, which has Amb. Chief Ilesanmi Francis Olaniyi as special guest/speaker also has many dignitaries in attendance which includes the Vice chancellor of the elite citadel of learning Prof. Folashade Ogunsola OON, FAS and many others.

At the annual event, the special guest/speaker Amb. Chief Ilesanmi Francis Olaniyi gave a speech that held his audience-spell bound; attracting a loud ovation intermittently! According to him, “This annual event (Mission Possible) reminds us that great institutions are not defined by their size or history alone, but also by the quality of service, excellence and relationships they build within and beyond their walls.”

Speaking further, Amb. Chief Ilesanmi told his audience that “The theme for this year’s celebration (Mission Possible) could not be timelier in a world often defined by rapid change, uncertainty, and complex challenges, it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that meaningful transformation is impossible, but this theme boldly declares otherwise: with commitment, innovation and collaboration, every mission can be achieved.” He said.

Amb. Chief Ilesanmi Francis Olaniyi is a czar in the oil and gas industry both at home and abroad and he is known in the political circle as “IJOBA FEDERAL” which is symbolic of his aspiration to represent his Senatorial district Osun East as a Senator come 2027. At the event, he made a generous donation of N1m (One million Naira) to the University’s Faculty of Engineering and best customer service personnel for 2025.
