Court Stops PDP From Holding National Convention After Lamido’s Exclusion
A Federal High Court in Abuja has issued a final order preventing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from going ahead with its national convention scheduled for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Justice Peter Lifu delivered the ruling on Friday in response to a suit filed by former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido.
The court had earlier granted a temporary injunction on November 11, stopping the PDP from conducting the convention until the main case was resolved.
