Horror in Community: Man Confesses to Sisters’ Ritual Killing, Goes Mad After Refusing Using Mother

A tragic incident has shaken a Nigerian community following the public breakdown and confession of a young man alleged to be involved in internet fraud, commonly referred to as a “Yahoo boy.”
Eyewitnesses reported that the man suddenly began behaving erratically in public, screaming uncontrollably, tearing his clothes, and running through the neighbourhood. His actions initially drew concern from residents, many of whom believed he was under the influence of drugs or experiencing a mental health crisis.
However, the situation took a disturbing turn when the man reportedly confessed to killing his two biological sisters in what he described as a ritual aimed at acquiring wealth. According to witnesses, he repeatedly admitted to the act, calling the victims by name and expressing visible distress.
As the crowd grew, the man further claimed that he was instructed to kill his mother as a final sacrifice to complete the ritual. He alleged that the sacrifices were required to be close blood relatives in exchange for promises of wealth and success.
The suspect stated that although he followed his mother to her room with the intention of carrying out the act, he was unable to proceed. He reportedly said memories of his mother’s sacrifices and care for him caused him to abandon the plan. Shortly after, he claimed to have experienced physical weakness, confusion, and auditory disturbances, after which he lost control of his actions.
The incident has sparked widespread fear and grief within the community, with residents expressing shock over the alleged crimes and concern over the growing influence of ritual-related violence linked to the pursuit of wealth.
Authorities are expected to investigate the matter, including the claims made by the suspect and the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the victims.
