Adeleke Camp Rattled as AMBO’s 7-Pillar Prosperity Agenda Gains Massive Public Acceptance

APC Candidate Pledges Activation of Dagbolu Dry port, Ido-Osun Aviation city, Technology-driven Security
Yesterday, the Governorship Candidate of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), formally unveiled his manifesto to the people of Osun State, clearly articulating a bold and practical roadmap anchored on poverty alleviation, workers’ welfare, job creation, security, education, and healthcare delivery as top priorities.
The well-attended event in Osogbo witnessed a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including members of the private and public sectors, security agencies, traditional institutions, civil society organisations, artisans, market men and women, students, and the media. It was at this historic gathering that Oyebamiji presented his 7-pillar, people-oriented manifesto titled “My Pact with Osun People,” built on transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance.
At the event, Oyebamiji pledged that his government would strengthen the Osun Investment Promotion Agency to drive real investment. He maintained that industrial parks with modern infrastructure would be developed to support entreprise growth. He said under his government, key economic assets such as the Dagbolu Dry port and the Ido-Osun Aviation city would be prioritized and the prosperity would be experienced in the daily lives of Osun people.
Under what he described as Prosperity Agenda, AMBO pledged to pursue infrastructure development that would be even and cut across the state.
He said his government would invest heavily in agriculture and food security by establishing agro-industrial clusters and modern farm settlements that would be attractive to Osun youths.
According to him, a technology-driven security solutions would be employed to support community-based initiatives in order to ensure peace across cities, towns and villages.
He equally said his administration would focus on quality, pocket-friendly and accessible healthcare and education, explaining that vocational and technical training would be the foundation of his government’s education policy.
Curiously, and quite predictably, the rudderless campaign council for Ademola Adeleke has attempted to dismiss this comprehensive and forward-looking blueprint as “empty” and jaded.
Such a reaction only betrays a deep sense of panic and insecurity within the Adeleke camp.
It is absurd that promoters of a governor who struggles and barely read a one-page statement are everywhere castigating a profound public speech of our candidate.
The truth is that the Adeleke administration deserves pity. They have clearly come to the quiet realization that the well-thought-out and people-focused agenda unveiled by Oyebamiji has resonated strongly with the people of Osun.
The overwhelming public acceptance of the PROSPERITY Agenda—a 7-pillar development framework designed to uplift lives and reposition Osun for sustainable growth—has unsettled those who lack both vision and direction.
It is evident that the Adeleke camp understands that their principal is bereft of ideas and unable to convincingly demonstrate a clear development pathway for the people. This explains their resort to desperate and baseless attacks against a manifesto that is already gaining traction across the state.
Unlike Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is known to run away from the media and serious intellectual engagement, Oyebamiji stood before the people and confidently subjected his plans to public scrutiny. After unveiling his manifesto, he engaged extensively with representatives of the media, private sector players, security agencies, persons living with disabilities, religious organisations, and traditional institutions.
More importantly, he listened to and responded thoughtfully to questions from market men and women, artisans and other critical stakeholders in the state’s economy—demonstrating not only preparedness but also a deep understanding of the people’s needs.
Oyebamiji’s manifesto is not just a document; it is a social contract rooted in transparency, accountability and measurable outcomes. It outlines clear strategies to drive economic growth, create jobs, improve infrastructure, strengthen security, revamp agriculture, and ensure accessible healthcare and quality education for all.
His emphasis on prompt payment of salaries and pensions, youth and women empowerment, investment attraction, and technology-driven governance further underscores his readiness to lead Osun into a new era of prosperity.
While Oyebamiji is offering substance, vision and competence, the outgoing administration are preoccupied with propaganda and empty criticism, believing such strategy will enliven the hopelessness that has become the trademark of their administration.
The people of Osun are discerning. They can see beyond the noise, and they are already aligning with AMBO, a candidate who has demonstrated capacity, clarity and courage.
