Speaking during the interactive session attended by journalists, stakeholders and members of the public, Adegoke presented his agenda for effective and people-oriented representation in the National Assembly if elected as Senator for Osun Central in the 2027 general elections.
The senior lawyer and politician assured residents of the district that they deserve quality representation that will bring tangible development, economic growth and greater opportunities to the people. He emphasized his commitment to using legislative instruments and strategic partnerships to attract investments capable of transforming the economic fortunes of the district.
According to him, one of his major priorities would be facilitating the establishment of industries and creating an enabling environment for investors to do business within Osun Central. He noted that increased investment would generate employment opportunities for youths, boost local enterprises and strengthen the economy of both the senatorial district and Osun State as a whole.
Adegoke stated that sustainable development can only be achieved through purposeful leadership, effective representation and policies that directly impact the welfare of the people. He assured residents that their interests would remain paramount in all his legislative engagements if entrusted with the mandate to represent them in the Senate.
The APC senatorial candidate also used the opportunity to call on the people of Osun State to support and vote for the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, in the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026. He expressed confidence in the APC candidate’s capacity to provide purposeful leadership and ensure continuity of good governance across the state.
Adegoke stressed the importance of unity within the APC, urging party faithful to remain committed to the ideals of the party by embracing tolerance, mutual respect and adherence to party supremacy. He noted that unity among members would be crucial to the party’s success in future electoral contests.
He further appealed to supporters and stakeholders to work collectively towards strengthening the APC’s structure across Osun State, maintaining that a united party would be better positioned to deliver democratic dividends and meet the expectations of the people.
