AMBO Team Debunks False Allegations Against President Tinubu, Call it a Smear Campaign, Cooked up by a Frustrated Politician and his Allies

Our attention has been drawn to a baseless and deliberately misleading story making rounds on social media, accusing supporters of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and a leading governorship contender in Osun State, of attacking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the recent courtesy visit by singer Davido and Senator Ademola Adeleke to the President in Lagos.

Let’s be clear: this is nothing but a smear campaign, cooked up by a frustrated politician and his allies who have been repeatedly rejected at the polls. Their aim? To paint Oyebamiji as antagonistic to President Tinubu and to cast him in the image of a desperate politician. But nothing could be further from the truth.
There has been no attack, no discontent, and no negative commentary from any verified member of the AMBO media team or support network. Since news of the visit broke, we have stayed focused on what truly matters, promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda and highlighting the tremendous work being done in the Marine and Blue Economy under the leadership of our state’s APC leader, H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola.
Those spreading this lie, including the known figure behind the fake report and his inner circle who’ve joined in spreading slander, are only confirming what we already know: that they fear the rising popularity and credibility of the AMBO Project. Even when his wife joined the attack and labeled AMBO’s governorship ambition as “Dead on Arrival,” we chose to remain calm, trusting in the fairness and wisdom of Mr. President to give every loyal party man a fair shot.
Let it be known: The AMBO Project is rooted in values; Omoluabi values. We are issue-focused, people-driven, and absolutely committed to pushing the APC to victory in Osun come 2026 and beyond.
Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji is a firm believer in President Tinubu’s leadership and has used every platform available to him professionally and politically, to amplify the President’s vision for a better Nigeria.
Wherever AMBO goes, he goes with the message of Renewed Hope. And that’s not just a slogan, it’s a principle we live by and share with others who believe in a brighter future for Osun State and the nation at large.
