Anambra Billionaire Goes Missing, Wife Cries Out

Anambra Billionaire Goes Missing, Wife Cries Out

Mrs. Tochukwu Ezemma, wife of the missing Anambra billionaire and real estate mogul, Benjamin Ezemma, has called on authorities to intensify efforts in locating her husband. She expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of the case, insisting that more should be done to find him.

Benjamin Ezemma, widely known as BigBen, is the Managing Director of Dubai Estate in Awka. He was kidnapped on November 12, 2024, and has not been seen since.

In a public statement, Mrs. Ezemma accused the state government of being indifferent to the case, claiming that their inaction was disturbing given her husband’s significant contributions to Anambra’s economy through his involvement in real estate and the fashion industry.

She said, “It’s been over two months of unbearable pain for me, my children, and our entire family. I keep asking, where is my husband? What happened to the father of my three young children? Why is this problem being ignored?”

The concerned wife questioned the assumption that her husband’s disappearance was linked to a business dispute, asserting that her husband was a well-known and influential figure in the state. She continued, “He has been a major contributor to Anambra’s development, and his case deserves more attention from the government.”

Mrs. Ezemma also appealed to the people of Anambra, urging them to demand answers from the authorities. “I need to know what has happened to him. Why has this case not been resolved, and who are the high-profile individuals involved in his disappearance that can’t be named or apprehended?” she questioned.

The State Security Service (DSS) has reportedly stated that the case is currently in court, advising the family to retain legal counsel for further action. However, Mrs. Ezemma expressed frustration over the lack of clarity, asking, “Who exactly is being charged in this case, and what are the charges against them?”
