Anambra Government Uncovers Illegal Factory Producing Fake Drinks

The Anambra State Ministry of Health has exposed an illicit wine production facility that was creating counterfeit exotic drinks. In a joint operation with the paramilitary agency, Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA BRIGADE), authorities arrested seven individuals at Nkpor, near Onitsha, and shut down the operation.
According to reports, the OCHA Brigade conducted a raid on the facility, which specialized in the mass production of fake wines and other unapproved beverages. This operation revealed that the factory had been manufacturing and distributing large quantities of counterfeit drinks for public consumption over the years.
