APC Governors Back President Tinubu for 2027 Re-Election Bid

On Thursday, governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unanimously expressed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election, endorsing him as the party’s flagbearer for the 2027 presidential election.
The endorsement came during the APC National Summit held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The motion for the vote of confidence in President Tinubu was initiated by the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma. It was seconded by Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, receiving overwhelming approval from thousands of party members in attendance.
The governors praised President Tinubu’s leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to his administration’s policies and direction, describing him as the right choice to continue steering the country beyond 2027.
