Arteta reveals four players to be sold after Arsenal’s win over Monaco

FCGs reports that Arsenal winger, Nicolas Pepe could be among four players to leave the club after a series of clues were dropped ahead of the clash with Monaco, the UK Mirror reports.

Two of the Gunners’ summer signings – Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice – started the Emirates Cup clash on Wednesday evening.

Pepe was not named in the squad for the game and his name was also missing from the matchday programme.

Turkish giants, Besiktas have been linked with the Ivorian who spent last season on loan with Nice in France.

Portuguese left-back, Nuno Tavares was also absent from both the matchday programme and Arteta’s squad.

Tavares could join Pepe in Turkey, with Galatasaray having been linked with a swoop for him.

Midfielder Alber Sambi Lokonga has been linked with a move to newly-promoted Burnley and his name was also missing.

Finally, academy graduate, Arthur Okonkwo has been linked with a switch this summer and he would be allowed to leave on a permanent basis.
