I wish to extend my sincere condolences to the residents of Ilahun and Ere-Ijesa in the Oriade/Obokun (Ijesa North) Federal Constituency following the unfortunate collapse of the bridge that has served as a vital link between these communities and their respective Local Governments. As a concerned citizen and a dedicated member of the PDP, I recognize the significant disruption this incident has caused to everyday life, commerce, and community connections.

In this difficult moment, I also want to commend our proactive Governor, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke, for his prompt and effective response to this critical infrastructure issue. His swift action has not only provided immediate assistance but has also renewed hope for the people of Ijesa North, who depend on this bridge for their mobility and economic activities.

The bridge’s collapse has posed serious challenges for local residents and traders, yet the Governor’s rapid intervention showcases his compassionate and proactive approach to leadership. His commitment to rehabilitating the bridge underscores his dedication to the welfare and progress of every community in Osun State.

As a proponent of community development, I take pride in witnessing such responsible leadership that prioritizes the needs of the populace. Governor Adeleke’s decisive actions enhance our confidence in his administration’s ability to confront challenges and promote growth throughout the state.
