Bishop David Oyedepo: “I’ve Never Received a Salary from Covenant University”

Bishop David Oyedepo
During Covenant University’s 19th convocation, Bishop David Oyedepo, the institution’s chancellor and founder of Living Faith Church, stated that he has never received a salary since the university was established.
He emphasized that the achievements and personal development of the students are his true rewards.
At the ceremony, the university awarded degrees to 1,607 graduates and acknowledged their contributions across various industries, including aviation, fashion, banking, and ICT.
“I declare this before God: I have not taken any wages from Covenant University since its founding. Your success stories and breakthroughs in different fields have been my compensation,” Oyedepo said.
He urged graduates to seek opportunities to contribute meaningfully, asserting that those who contribute cannot fail. “You will be part of the solution, not part of the problem,”he added.
