Bouncer Arrested for Stabbing Man to Death at Lagos Club

The Lagos State Police have taken into custody a bouncer named Kingsley Otti, following the fatal stabbing of a man believed to be a hoodlum at a lounge on Ago Palace Way in Okota.
According to police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Monday during a confrontation in the club’s parking lot. The victim lost consciousness and was quickly transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
In a statement, Hundeyin detailed that the club manager reported the incident to the Ago-Okota Division around 11:30 a.m. the same day. He stated that Otti allegedly attacked the man during a dispute, leading to the fatal outcome.
A team of detectives subsequently examined the scene and visited the hospital to inspect the deceased. The body has since been sent to the Mainland General Hospital Morgue for an autopsy.
In related news, a sex worker named Joy Kelvin reportedly stabbed a 48-year-old man known as Okafor to death on Monday at Jakande Housing Estate in the Lekki area.
