Breaking News: Oba Aromolaran, the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Has Passed Away

Reports from within the palace indicate that Oba Aromolaran has died after a short illness. The palace has yet to release an official statement regarding the monarch’s death, though confirmation has been received from inside sources.
“We are aware that Baba has passed, but we are waiting for the palace to make a formal announcement. Traditional rites are currently being performed, which must be completed before any official statement can be issued,” said a source.
A reporter from FIRST CLASS GISTS who visited the palace noted the presence of security personnel and observed the commencement of traditional rituals customary after a king’s death.
The late Oba Aromolaran ruled for more than 40 years.
