BREAKING: NIGERIAN ARMY THWARTS KIDNAP ATTEMPT IN DELTA STATE, RESCUES PASSENGERS
In a commendable act of heroism, Nigerian Army troops assigned to internal security duties successfully prevented a kidnapping by a suspected terrorist group on the Ughelli-Patani Road in Delta State. The troops’ prompt reaction to a distress call led to the rescue of passengers who were taken hostage while traveling in a commercial bus.
Upon receiving the alert, the troops swiftly mobilized and engaged the armed terrorists in a firefight. The intense confrontation forced the terrorists to abandon their captives and escape.
The rescued passengers are now in safe custody, receiving necessary care and support. The troops are actively pursuing the fleeing terrorists to ensure their apprehension.
