Building Owner, Child, and Four Others Die in Kano Structure Collapse
During a heavy morning downpour, a building in Kano collapsed, resulting in the deaths of the owner, a child, and four others. Eight additional individuals sustained injuries and are currently being treated at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital.
The casualties comprised construction workers and passersby who sought refuge from the rain. Local leaders, including the Ward Head of Dorayi Babba, have expressed profound grief over the tragic loss of innocent lives.
The exact cause of the collapse remains undetermined, but the Kano State Hisbah Command has confirmed that investigations are ongoing to ascertain the precise details of the incident.
