Today, August 27, 2025, marks a significant milestone in the history of our beloved Osun State – our 34th anniversary. As an APC chieftain contesting for the post of Senator in Osun East senatorial district, in his statement issued through his media Team, Ogungbangbe Media Front, he said “I join millions of Osun people in celebrating this remarkable achievement”
On this joyous occasion, we reflect on the progress we’ve made as a state, from our rich cultural heritage to our economic growth and development. Osun State, aptly described as the “Land of Virtue” and “State of the Living Spring,” has come a long way since its creation on August 27, 1991.
As we commemorate this anniversary, I urge all Osun people to strive for greatness. Let us work together to build a brighter future for our state, leveraging our unique strengths and opportunities. Our collective efforts will undoubtedly propel Osun State to new heights.
I commend the resilience and determination of our people, leaders, and communities. Your unwavering commitment to Osun State’s progress is truly inspiring.
As we celebrate our 34th anniversary, I wish every Osun citizen happiness, peace, and prosperity. May God bless our state and guide us toward a more prosperous future.
Happy 34th anniversary, Osun State!
