Chidimma Expresses Gratitude to Supporters; See What She Says Crown Represent

Chidimma, who grew up in South Africa with a Nigerian father and a Mozambican mother, withdrew from the Miss SA pageant amidst controversy over her nationality. She then accepted an invitation to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, where she was crowned on Saturday night.
In her acceptance speech, the 23-year-old remarked, “This crown represents more than just beauty; it symbolizes a call for unity.”
Chidimma will now represent Nigeria in the Miss Universe competition scheduled for November.
