Chukwueze Among Premier League’s Most Fearless Attackers

Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has distinguished himself as one of the Premier League’s most aggressive attacking players this season, ranking second among wingers and attacking midfielders for offensive duels won, according to data from analytics platform Data MB.
The 26-year-old Fulham loanee boasts a 53.61% success rate in one-on-one offensive duels, trailing only Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon at 57.35%. He finishes ahead of Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka (50.73%), widely regarded as one of the league’s elite performers, while Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo (50.41%) and Newcastle’s Jacob Murphy (50.0%) round out the top five (BBC Sport).
Chukwueze, who joined Fulham on a season-long loan from AC Milan last summer, has become a pivotal figure at Craven Cottage. In 17 appearances, he has contributed three goals and four assists, earning the confidence of manager Marco Silva. Fulham are reportedly considering activating his €30 million buy clause to make the transfer permanent (The Guardian Sports).
The offensive duel metric highlights that Chukwueze’s influence extends beyond scoring and assisting. His ability to consistently win physical battles and create attacking opportunities underscores the Nigerian international’s work rate and tactical impact in the Premier League (Vanguard Sport).
Chukwueze’s blend of pace, skill, and tenacity has made him a key component of Fulham’s attacking strategy, demonstrating that his contributions are measurable not just in goals, but in controlling the offensive flow and destabilising opposing defences. With the season entering its critical stages, his performances could prove decisive in Fulham’s push for a strong league finish.
