Delta Police Arrest Three Suspected Armed Robbers, Recover Guns
The Delta State Commissioner of Police Special Squad has apprehended three suspected armed robbers in Sapele, Delta State.
The arrested individuals are identified as 23-year-old gang leader Blessing Atima, 19-year-old Destiny Okpako, and 20-year-old Wisdom Akpohirihwo.
The arrests took place at various locations in Sapele, led by ASP Julius Robinson. Seized from the suspects were a Beretta Pistol, a cut-to-size gun, three cutlasses, phones, and ATM cards belonging to their victims.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident in a statement to FIRST CLASS GISTS.
“Some victims have identified the suspects and their recovered belongings,” Edafe stated. “Interrogation has revealed their involvement in six armed robbery incidents in Sapele.”
The suspects are currently in custody, and investigations
are ongoing.
