Edo Assembly Speaker Receives Best Performing Student In WAEC And JAMB, Gold Ovoita Ajagun.
Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. (Chief) Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku has received the best performing Student in West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Master Gold Ovoita Ajagun from Ososo in Akoko Edo.
This is after the member representing the Akoko Edo 2 Constituency Hon. Donald Okogbe presented Master Gold Ovoita Ajagun to him in his office.
History was made as Mr. Speaker honoured Master Gold Ovoita Ajagun as one-Day Speaker due to his academic Excellence, having scored 8 (A) and 1 (B3) in WAEC and 335 marks in JAMB.
Hon. Okogbe Donald Ojemeh has awarded one million Naira as Scholarship to Master Ajagun Ovoita Gold, A pupil of GLORYLAND SECONDARY SCHOOL, IGARRA who obtained 8 A1 In the recently released West African Senoir Secondary Certificate Examination.
A brand new HP Laptop worth N430,000 (Four Hundred and Thirty Thousand Naira ) Was also procured for Master Ajagun Ovoita Gold from the #1,000,000.
According to Hon.Okogbe, Master Ajagun Ovoita Gold will undergo a three months computer training before school resumption to prepare him for the next academic journey In his actualization of his lifelong ambition of becoming a MEDICAL DOCTOR.
Hon. Okogbe said that the speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku had also promised to take care of the academic needs of master Ajagun Ovoita Gold in his first academic Year at the university.
