Ehi Abdul: How I Was Married To 8 Boko Haram, Says Pregnant Chibok Girl With 2 Kids

Ehi Abdul, the latest victim to be freed from the 2014 Chibok abduction in Borno State, revealed that she was married to eight men during her captivity by Boko Haram.
Daily Trust reported that the Joint Task Force, Operation Hadin Kai, recently handed over Ehi Abdul and 332 other rescued individuals to the Borno State government for rehabilitation. Among the rescued were 110 women and 220 children, who were freed during a clearance operation in the Bama-Pulka axis of Sambisa Forest.
During a presentation at Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri, Maj-Gen. Waheed Shuaibu, the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, announced that 27-year-old Ehi Abdul, three months pregnant, was rescued on June 23, 2024, along with her two children.
Speaking to journalists at the headquarters of Operation Hadin Kai Theater Command in Maiduguri, Ehi Abdul shared her experience: “I trekked for days before reaching a military checkpoint in Nigeria, where they took me and my children in. I was married to eight men and gave birth to three children from different husbands. I did not attempt to escape earlier because I wasn’t ready until now.
“We Chibok girls are not kept in the same camp. I don’t know why some are still in captivity, but those of us who chose to stay in Sambisa remained, while others have not had the chance to escape.
“As for education, I can’t say anything for now. I’m not sure if I can continue with my education.”
