How Oriade South Chairman’s Efforts on Roads, Markets, and Health Centers Expose PDP’s Failures and Their Fear of Progress

Ipetu Ijesa Market Committee visit Hon. Ajimati Oladeji Benedict

Recently, a statement was made on air by one of the directors at the Osun State Ministry of Commerce. The director, backed by the PDP and Governor Ademola Adeleke, instructed market leaders to stop supporting the efforts of local government chairmen in their work for community development. This claim that the local government is issuing tickets and collecting money from traders is completely false.

Let’s set the record straight

The Roads Are Being Graded Right Now

Anyone living in Ward 8, Oriade South knows how bad the roads have been, without the intervention by state and local government since the inception of Governor Ademola Adeleke. Thanks to the leadership of Hon. Ajimati Oladeji Benedict, road grading has finally started in areas that have long been neglected for the past two weeks ago. People have seen it happening. Just two days ago, the state government or Senator Fadahunsi rushed to bring a grader into the area. But the truth is, the local government had already been working on these roads. why is it now, that The Executive Chairman of Oriade South is working, that they brought Grader?

No Tickets Sales

There is no truth to the claim that the Oriade South is issuing tickets or charging traders extra fees. This is a complete lie. The Oriade South has not printed any tickets, nor have they been involved in any money-making schemes from traders. Their focus has always been on community development and helping the people of Oriade South.

Market Leaders Are Being Threatened

It’s clear that the state government is trying to intimidate market leaders into stopping their support for the local government. One of the directors at the Ministry of Commerce, allegedly sponsored by the PDP and Governor Ademola Adeleke, told market leaders that if they continued to work with local government and LCDA chairmen, they would be sacked. This type of bullying shows that the state government isn’t interested in development. Instead, they are trying to stop any progress that is being made by local government or LCDA chairmen.

Hon. Ajimati Oladeji’s Work for Oriade South

Hon. Ajimati Oladeji Benedict isn’t just focused on roads. He is actively involved in monitoring primary health centers, markets, and community infrastructure. His efforts have already started making a difference. He’s ensuring that these vital services run smoothly, which is why the people of Oriade South trust and support him. His work is a clear example of what local government leadership should look like.

While the local government is working hard for the people, the state government seems threatened by this progress. Instead of supporting these efforts, they are attacking them, which highlights their failure to make any real change in the community for years.

Praise from the Ipetu Ijesa Express Road Market Committee and Other Community Leaders

The Committee of Ipetu Ijesa Express Road Market, as well as residents, farmers, and healthcare workers in the primary health centers, have all praised the work done by Hon. Ajimati Oladeji Benedict. They have recognized how his leadership will positively impacted the local economy and community well-being.

The State Government’s Actions Expose Their Lies

The state government’s actions have shown PDP true nature. They have lied about the work being done in Oriade South, and it’s clear they are working against the progress of the state. Only those who are enemies of the state would act as an obstacle to development. These are the actions of those who are not interested in the well-being of the people but in stopping any progress that doesn’t benefit them. The PDP and Governor Ademola Adeleke’s behavior only shows they are more focused on politics than on the development of the state.

They Are Trying to Stop Progress

Instead of supporting positive changes, the PDP and the state government are blocking good initiatives like the Ipetu Ijesa express road market, grading of more roads, and equipping the Primary Health Center They have even tried to stop the local government from grading market square and giving free market shops to traders, which would have benefited the local economy. The question is: Why would anyone want to block progress that will help the people?

The People Are Watching

The people of Oriade South are not fooled. They can see the difference that Hon. Ajimati Oladeji Benedict and the Oriade South are making. They appreciate the ongoing road grading, the improvements to markets, and the attention to healthcare. People are offering their support and prayers for him because they recognize his dedication to making their lives better.

A Message to the PDP and Governor Ademola Adeleke

To the People Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor Ademola Adeleke, it’s time to stop playing politics with the future of Osun State. Osun needs more development, not less. The people are tired of the lies and games being played. They want real progress—roads, markets, better healthcare, and a stronger economy. The state should be supporting local government leaders who are working hard to make all of this happen, not hindering their efforts.

The people of Osun deserve better. They deserve leaders who will help them grow, not ones who hold them back with lies and distractions.

In conclusion, The people of Oriade South are standing strong with their Chairman and Councillors. They see the work being done and know it’s for their benefit. They will not be swayed by false claims and intimidation. The work being done in Oriade South is real, and the lies from the state government will not stop progress.

It’s time for the truth to be heard. It’s time for Osun State to move forward.
