Ex-Assembly Speaker Says Akande and Oyetola Will Lead APC to Win Osun 2026

In a New Year message to the people of Osun, Owoeye congratulated residents for their resilience and urged patience as Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) prepares to assume the party’s gubernatorial ticket. He described Oyebamiji’s emergence as the APC candidate as “the best development of 2025” and praised the party leadership for their strategic decision.
Owoeye further stated, “I am confident that Mr. Oyetola, Chief Akande, and other party leaders will guide the APC to success in both the 2026 and 2027 elections.” He called on APC members to remain committed to the party’s ideals and work diligently towards a collective victory.
Engr. Ademola Adedapo, a senior party chieftain, also encouraged unity among Osun residents and stressed the importance of supporting Oyebamiji. Highlighting the economic reforms under President Bola Tinubu, Adedapo said, “Though 2025 posed challenges due to federal reforms, these measures are designed to secure prosperity and a brighter future for our nation. We must continue to support our government and rally behind our candidate for true governance in Osun.”
The APC leadership remains resolute that with collective effort, the party will deliver a decisive mandate in Osun State’s August 2026 gubernatorial election.
