SUSPENSION OF INAUGURATION AND RETREAT FOR GOVERNING COUNCIL MEMBERS OF FEDERAL TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

 

The Federal Ministry of Education announces with regret the postponement of the Inauguration and Retreat for Pro-Chancellors, Chairpersons, and Members of Governing Councils of Federal Tertiary Institutions, which were initially planned for Thursday, 30th May and Friday, 31st May 2024.

 

This decision follows a Presidential directive, as communicated through a State House Press Release on 23rd May 2024, mandating a comprehensive review of the membership of the Governing Councils of Federal Tertiary Institutions across Nigeria.

 

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will provide further updates in due course.
