First Jumu’ah of August: A Call for Unity and Devotion.

– Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, Ph.D.
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
On behalf of our principal, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, Ph.D., the Ogungbangbe Media Front (OMF) extends heartfelt greetings to all our Muslim brothers and sisters across the Osun East Senatorial District on the occasion of the first Jumu’ah of August.
As we gather today in the spirit of faith and unity, let us reflect on the sacred words of Allah from Surah Al-Jumu’ah (62:9):
“O you who have believed, when the adhan is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah (Friday), then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.”
Jumu’ah is a time for spiritual reflection, a renewal of our commitment to righteousness, and a reminder of our duties to our community. May this blessed day inspire us to deepen our faith and strengthen our resolve to build a better society.
As a dedicated member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a passionate advocate for grassroots development, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, Ph.D., who is contesting for the position of Senator in the Osun East Senatorial District, encourages all eligible citizens to actively engage in the democratic process.
May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, protect our communities, and guide our leaders toward justice and progress.
*Jumu’ah Mubarak to everyone.*
