Folashade Oluwafemiayo Breaks World Record and Wins Gold for Nigeria

Nigeria’s Folashade Oluwafemiayo has achieved a remarkable feat at the Paralympics by setting a new world record in the women’s over 86kg Para-Powerlifting category. She lifted an impressive 166kg, surpassing her previous record of 165kg and clinching the gold medal.

Oluwafemiayo’s performance has brought Nigeria’s total medal count at the Paralympics to seven, marking a historic achievement for the country.
