Former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello Marries Fourth Wife in Abuja

Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State, has entered into a new chapter in his personal life with the addition of a fourth wife, Hiqma. The wedding took place in a discreet ceremony on Saturday in Abuja, attended by close relatives and friends.
The news was shared publicly by his third wife, Hafiza Yahaya Bello, through an Instagram post in which she expressed her happiness and gratitude for the new family member.
“Alhamdulillah, our family has grown! We warmly welcome Mrs. Hiqma Yahaya Bello. May Allah continue to bless our home with love, harmony, and barakah. Amin,” she wrote.
Bello, a key figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC), led Kogi State from 2016 until 2023 and was recognized as the youngest governor in Nigeria during his time in office.
Prior to this union, he was already married to three wives: Amina Oyiza Bello, Rashida Yahaya Bello, and Hafiza Bello.
An alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Bello holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Despite his public role in politics, he has generally kept his family affairs away from the spotlight, making this recent marriage a notable development in his personal journey.
