FOST Congratulates Lekan Badmus
Friends of Seyi Tunubu(FOST), a charity organization, through its founder, Comr. Adejorin Tai Manuel popularly known as ATM, has congratulated Engr. Lekan Badmus, the present LAUTECH Alumni President and former Osun State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties for his appointment as the Executive Director Of Marine and Operations at the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA).
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had on Thursday, January 4, 2024 through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale announced the appointment of Engr. Olalekan Badmus as the new Executive Director, Marine and Operations, Nigeria Port Authority.
The founder of Friends of Seyi Tinubu (FOST) and former President of the Osun State University Student Union (OSUSU), an indefatigable comrade expressed delight over the choice of this Osun-born politician, describing the appointment as one of the best so far by Mr President. He noted that Engr. Lekan Badmus has shown political tact and sagacity in his many years of service to humanity, which is worthy of emulation by every progressive-minded individual.
ATM stressed that the new Executive Director will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his duties even as he contributes his quota to the growth of Marine and Blue Economy sector in the overall interests of the nation’s economy. “With your capacity and political sagacity over the years, I have no doubt in mind that you will bring your wealth of experience garnered over the years to bear on your new assignment.”
