Gunmen kidnap Pregnant Woman in Ogun State

Gunmen
A pregnant woman named Ogunbunmi Lateef has reportedly been kidnapped by armed men in Ogun State.
Ogunbunmi was on her way from her home in Oke Lantoro to the State General Hospital in Ijaiye, Abeokuta, when she was abducted.
Her husband, Ogunbunmi Lateef, received a WhatsApp message from the kidnappers confirming his wife’s abduction.
In a statement posted on her X account, the state police command spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident, stating that it had been reported to the authorities.
Odutola wrote, “Ogunbunmi Lateef of Oke Lantoro reported that his pregnant wife, who was due for delivery, left home for State Hospital Ijaiye Abeokuta. He later received a WhatsApp message confirming her abduction by unknown armed men.”
