Gunmen Kidnap Wife of Retired AIG Hakeem Odumosu in Ogun
Masked gunmen, believed to be kidnappers, have abducted Mrs. Odumosu, the wife of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Hakeem Odumosu, in Ogun State.

The incident took place on Friday morning at the entrance of her residence in the Arepo area of Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area, Ogun State, as she was returning home from an outing.
Eyewitnesses reported that four masked men attacked Mrs. Odumosu, firing shots into the air to frighten onlookers. They then forcibly dragged her from her Lexus Jeep and took her through a swampy area to an unknown location.

The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the kidnapping through its spokesperson, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Omolola Odutola, who stated that authorities had deployed officers to ensure her safe return.
“We received information about the abduction of Mrs. Odumosu, a resident of Aminu Street, Arepo, Ogun State,” Odutola confirmed. “The Divisional Police Officer is leading a team of officers to search the swampy area in an effort to locate the victim and apprehend the kidnappers.”
