Gunmen Kill Four Policemen and POS Operator in Imo State

On Monday evening, unidentified gunmen attacked the Ontisha Road area of Owerri, Imo State, resulting in the deaths of four police officers and a Point of Sale (POS) operator.
Reports indicate that the assailants opened fire on officers conducting a stop-and-search operation near the AA Rano and Gbobal fuel stations.
Chidiebube Okeoma confirmed the fatalities, noting that the attackers managed to escape the scene. As of now, the state’s police spokesperson, Henry Okoye, has not yet provided a comment on the incident.
