Harry Kane Set to Make History with 100th England Cap Tonight

Harry Kane is poised to become the 10th player in history to earn 100 caps for the England men’s team as he leads the squad against Finland at Wembley Stadium this evening.
Prior to the UEFA Nations League match, the FA will honor Kane with a special pre-match ceremony, including the presentation of a gold cap to mark his achievement.
Kane will be the first England player to reach this milestone since Wayne Rooney in November 2014. With 66 goals in 99 appearances, Kane is England’s all-time top scorer. He made his international debut on March 27, 2015, scoring just 79 seconds after coming on as a substitute in a 4-0 victory over Lithuania.
The Bayern Munich forward has started 86 games for his country and has captained the team 72 times. Finland will be the 45th different opponent he has faced during his international career.
Throughout his nearly decade-long international journey, Kane has set significant records, including the most appearances at major finals (28) and the highest number of competitive matches played (83) by an English player.
