Honduras Threatens to Expel U.S. Military Over Trump’s Mass Deportation Plan
Honduras’ president has warned that the country may expel U.S. military forces from a base established in the region decades ago if President-elect Donald Trump proceeds with plans for mass deportations of undocumented immigrants.
President Xiomara Castro stated, “If the U.S. adopts a hostile stance and pursues mass expulsions of our people, we would have to reassess our cooperation policies with the United States, particularly in the military sector.”
