Hotel Visit Turns Tragic: Man Paralyzed After Sex With Married Mother of Three

A 43-year-old man, identified as Rafiu Lasisi, was reported to have become suddenly paralyzed during a visit to a hotel in the Arigbajo area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to police sources, Lasisi had checked into the hotel on Friday, July 4, 2025, accompanied by a woman later identified as Latifat Shobowale, a married mother of three.
Shortly after the pair engaged in sexual activity, Lasisi reportedly lost the ability to move his left arm and leg, prompting Shobowale to raise an alarm. Hotel staff alerted the police, and the man was quickly taken to a nearby state hospital for emergency care. He was later referred to the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta for further treatment.
Shobowale has since been taken into custody for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.
A police report submitted by Chief Eze Williams Okonko, the hotel’s owner and a local community leader, detailed the events and confirmed that further updates will be provided as the case progresses.
