How Kano Fire Service Rescues Three and Saves N102.9 Million in Property

The Kano State Fire Service reported on Tuesday that it successfully rescued three people and protected property valued at N102.9 million from 21 fire incidents in August.Â
According to Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, the Service’s Public Relations Officer, there were three fatalities and property worth N47.8 million was lost to fires during the same period.
The Fire Service responded to 11 genuine emergency calls and reported no false alarms. Abdullahi urged the public to exercise caution with fire safety by ensuring that electrical appliances, gas, and generators are turned off when leaving their homes.
