How NSCDC Busts Two Suspects for Vandalizing Telecom Mast in Kogi

The Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended two individuals suspected of vandalizing a telecommunications mast.

The suspects, Yakubu Muhammad and Rabiu Suleiman, were taken into custody by the NSCDC’s anti-vandal task force in the Okumi area, near Natako in Lokoja, following a routine surveillance and reliable intelligence.

During the press briefing, the State Commandant, Akinlade Esther, revealed that the suspects were caught in the act of damaging an Etisalat antenna mast in Lokoja.

She added that the suspects would face legal action once the investigation is completed.

Commandant Esther also urged the public to cooperate with the NSCDC by providing valuable information to help prevent crime. She cautioned individuals or groups with criminal intentions to cease their activities, emphasizing that the Corps is now better equipped to address criminal behavior under her leadership.
